2 Wedding Venues in Bexhill on Sea found

Bexhill is an ancient settlement chartered by King Offa in the 8th century, though perhaps spiritually it is rather more rooted in the liberal end of the Victorian era and the start of the Edwardian age, when attitudes were starting to relax somewhat and seaside holidays were all the rage. It even unbuttoned its corsets enough to host the first motor race in England in 1902. A relaxed atmosphere – and nerve-bracing seaside air – is something to be wished for in a wedding venue of course as is a long association with professional hospitality. The train services that brought Victorian holidaymakers could today equally well bring your guests, the town’s resort status meaning that conveniently there are three stations to choose from.
