Polhawn Fort is set in a stunning beautiful location in South East Cornwall, overlooking the great sweep of Whitsand Bay. Framed by lawns with a picture-perfect backdrop of uninterrupted sea views, this remarkable Napoleonic Fort is steeped in history, a wildly romantic place for your wedding.

The whole Fort, together with the grounds and gardens, will be yours exclusively to share with your friends and family for your wedding break. The fort sleeps approximately twenty people and has a fabulous honeymoon suite. You can tie the knot in the fort itself, or you can exchange your vows in the pretty Garden House outside, where the sound of the sea and birds make an unforgettable accompaniment. . A steep footpath scrambles down the cliffs to a delightful private beach below.

Polhawn caters for 120 seated guests inside, or you can have a marque on the lawn in front of the sea. You can organise all your own catering, your table arrangements and with no corkage charge you can even bring your own! There are professional kitchens and ample tables and chairs for all your guests.

Polhawn offers midweek weddings and long weekend breaks. In winter the immensely thick walls keep out the cold and keep you cosy by the open fire, in the summer you relax in the gardens, roam the coastal foothpath or play on the beach. Whatever the season, you have the freedom to treat Polhawn as your own and organise your days exactly as you wish… what a wildly romantic idea…
