1 Wedding Venues in Runcorn found
The most famous image associated with Runcorn is surely its elegant arching Silver Jubilee Bridge, nicely symbolic of the union brought about by a wedding. The town stands at what was, until a bridge was built in the 19th century, a ferry crossing point over the River Mersey. It’s a place that holds a few surprises, like a nationally important collection of quince trees, an atmospheric ruined castle in the local red sandstone, and some fine ecclesiastical buildings in case you fancy a church wedding. There are too some good local breweries producing excellent ale, so no need to resort to shouting Two Pints of Lager and A Packet of Crisps, however appropriate given the sitcom was set here.
