1 Wedding Venues in Innerleithen found

While a wedding dress in the tweed for which the town of Innerleithen was once famed may be a step too far, something pretty in cashmere made locally should perhaps find its way into your trousseau. This little town near the confluence of the Tweed and Leithen Water is set amid lovely Borders countryside, Wallace’s Hill, Minch Moor and Lee Pen just three of the hills around it, and the forests coming right to the edge of the place. There’s a lovely touch of romance too about the local great house – said to be the oldest continually inhabited dwelling in Scotland – whose gates remain closed until a Stuart regains the throne (and more practically whose beer is marvellous).
