The feel

The former Chapel, a large hall, seats around 100 people for dinner or lunch. A gravelled area adjoining the chapel can also be covered with an awning if more covered space is required.

For an evening dance, numbers can go up to 150 but there would only be seating around the room for approximately 70 guests.

It is also possible to hire a marquee, which can be sited in the walled garden for a larger number of guests.

Catering can be provided by a number of recommended companies or you may bring your own food, drinks, flowers, decorations and music etc. Choice of menu is entirely yours and we can offer suggestions at a viewing.

As well as a traditional sit down meal or buffet there are so many other possibilities from barbequed local scallops and venison burgers, to a gourmet picnic on the beach. All local suppliers details can be provided on request.

There is no catering kitchen at Lochnell but there is a covered area with full vehiclular access, water and power for caterers to set up, and an area in which to prepare food.
