Le Castel Normandy

The feel

Le Castel is a classic Napoleon III château in Normandy that offers a fairytale backdrop for your wedding blessing.

This small château specialises in blessings for up to 22 guests, who can all stay on site for three to seven days.

The idea is that Le Castel should feel like your home. It is a much more personal and relaxed experience than a traditional hotel.

A wedding at Le Castel can be formal and classy, fun and frivolous, small and intimate, lavish and elaborate..or anything else you wish.

   There are seven bedrooms in the main château plus four in two cottages in the grounds. 

For the blessing there is a natural cathedral of trees with canvas sails flying out of them. The 150ft tall firs stand on the main lawn with the chateau in the back ground, a pagoda to the right for champagne after the service and a marquee to the left for the reception.

 

The Camelot style marquee is hexagonal with 8 metre high twin peaks and a beautiful silk lining 

Owner Jon Barnsley can arrange everything from flowers and photos to catering and music.

Le Castel can do larger weddings on request.

It is easy to get to Normandy by ferry, plane or chunnel.
