We are Zone 9’s best wedding venue; at the end of the Metropolitan line and set in the beautiful rolling Chiltern Hills, the Kings Chapel is the best of both worlds. It is the perfect countryside wedding location, yet only a stone’s throw away from London; as well as both charmingly old in its 18th Century building set in historic Old Amersham and newly refurbished; both modern and sleek whilst maintaining a classically beautiful appearance. It pairs little and large perfectly, with its breath-taking domed Main Hall down to the flourishing finer details of the glittering chandeliered Reception Room; the Kings Chapel welcomes all couples for an unforgettable day. Have your ceremony atop the traditional pulpit beneath the iconic cupola, or perhaps on the elegant mezzanine balcony with the sun streaming through the large arched windows; and then spill through to our grand Reception Room or intimate walled garden for a glass of bubbly with all of your friends and family. Our tiered balcony can seat up to 80 guests, and the impressive Main Hall seats up to 120 guests for a delicious wedding breakfast carefully selected by the Bride and Groom from our extensive range of menu options.
With 34 bedrooms on site and a further 45 just 10 doors down the road at The Crown Hotel, the party doesn’t need to end on the night – have all your guests in one place so that you can continue celebrating over a cooked and continental breakfast.
We know that every couple is unique, and so every wedding should be too. The Kings Chapel is the perfect blank canvas to put your own stamp on; assisted by one of our lovely wedding co-ordinators, you will be guided through all the individual elements of your big day to create the perfect one-of-a-kind wedding.
