The Fowey Hotel is perched on the hillside of the historic town of Fowey and has been a landmark building since first opening in 1882, when the railways extended their reach into Cornwall. With its attractive Victorian architecture, cosy interiors and superb, uninterrupted views, the hotel is known and loved for its friendly, relaxed atmosphere and award-winning food.

The Fowey Hotel is an idyllic setting for any wedding reception or civil ceremony and offers the best of everything from outside areas, terrace, gardens to elegant drawing rooms and fine dining restaurant which holds an AA Rosette.

With its Victorian architecture and certain quirks such as a unique lift, the hotel lends itself to Vintage style weddings for those wanting to celebrate both old and new.

The staff are wonderfully accommodating and realise that this special day is all about you. They therefore work with you to deliver a bespoke package designed to suit you and your guests. Afterall, everyone’s different and everyone’s special.

There’s a choice of rooms

Large events are held in Spinnakers Restaurant, which offers elegant decor, high ceilings, large windows, and magnificent coastal views. The restaurant can seat up to 70 guests for a formal seated meal or up to 100 for an informal buffet.

For smaller weddings, the Piano Room provides a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. It also offers access to the balcony terrace and overlooks the sea. This room is available for afternoon and evening weddings and can seat up to 22 guests for a formal seated meal or up to 30 for a standing reception

For a truly intimate wedding, one of the luxury bedrooms is fully licensed and offers a tranquil and exclusive atmosphere just for you.

You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to a memorable backdrop for your wedding photographs and videos. The stylish interiors provide a delightful backdrop or you can use the pretty Tea Gardens to make the most of the stunning views.

Readymoney Beach is also nearby, if you’d prefer a more natural environment!

With the hotel being just 37 bedrooms, it can be hired on an all-inclusive basis.
