The Devonshire Fell has 16 luxury ensuite bedrooms which combine a modern style and design to create the comfort associated with a first class country house. Providing a choice of bedrooms from double to twins and family rooms. Our bride and groom have the choice of bridal suites with Threshfield and Bellbusk both offering a luxury super king size bed and amazing panoramic views. Adult guests can also enjoy the tranquil surroundings of The Devonshire Spa on the nearby Bolton Abbey Estate.

FAQs

How many guests can we invite?

Between 30 and 70 guests can be seated for a formal wedding breakfast in the Dalzell Room. The conservatory can seat a further 20 guests should you wish to invite more. We can cater for up to 100 for an evening reception.

Do you cater for smaller weddings?

We can hold ceremonies and weddings for more intimate weddings of up to 30 guests, but any wedding must take the hotel and all 16 bedrooms exclusively. In some cases, our Conservatory may be available for wedding celebrations of 20 or less. Prices for this are available on request.

Can we use the hotel bedrooms?

We reserve all 16 bedrooms on the evening of your wedding exclusively for your party. Should you wish to pass on the accommodation costs to your guests we will provide a rooming list to facilitate, and guests can pay for them directly on check-out. Please note that any rooms that may remain unsold will be charged back to your account. Our 16 exquisitely appointed bedrooms are personally styled by the Duchess of Devonshire. That includes two large Suites, both with a super king bed, two bathrooms and a living room with sofa bed. They offer ample space for the bridal party and their entourage. The hotel will be all yours from 12.00pm until 10.00am the next day. The check-in time for bedrooms is normally 3.00pm. However, special arrangements for early check-in can be made for the bridal party. We also have extra accommodation in our two holiday cottages nearby.
