If you asked Shanika and Callum to describe their dream wedding, the answer would be simple: something that reflected them, joyful, laid-back, with personal touches and plenty of fun. That’s exactly what they delivered on their beautiful May wedding day at Cottered Village Hall, complete with a unique feature that had guests talking: a 9-hole mini golf course, courtesy of Putt Putt Golf.

The couple, who love a mini golf game during holidays or day trips, knew early on that they wanted to incorporate an activity into their celebration that truly represented who they are.
“We’d done a lot of research into mini golf hire,” Shanika shared. “Finding one that matched our vibe was really important to us. When we came across Putt Putt Golf, we just knew, it was the addition we needed!”

On the big day, Rick took care of everything, setting up the full 9-hole course while the couple were at their ceremony, ensuring it was ready and waiting as guests arrived.
“It was completely stress-free,” Callum added. “By the time we got back, guests were already playing, laughing, and having a great time.”

Mini golf wasn’t just a background activity, it became a real focal point of the reception. Rick encouraged everyone to take part, even the younger guests, and it turned into a fun, informal way to keep the atmosphere buzzing throughout the day.
“We wanted our wedding to feel enjoyable and relaxed, and the mini golf really added to that,” Shanika said. “It brought people together in such a natural way. It was playful, interactive, and a true reflection of who we are as a couple.”
