Offering only a small handful of brides the change to be married there each year, Ugbrooke House has a stunning chapel attached to the house for religious ceremonies, or conuducts civil ceremonies in one of the stately rooms or the light and airy, glass conservatory. If you’d prefer an outdoor ceremony, there are a number of picturesque sites in the Capability Brown garden where you can exchange vows, perhaps overlooking the lake or gliding down an aisle lined with lavender. Intimate receptions can be held in the opulent dining room or in a marquee on the West lawn overlooking the lake and on to Dartmoor.

We also offer exclusive house parties for brides that would like their wedding to be a lavish affair across a number of days. The bridal party and their guests can stay in one of our thirteen guest bedrooms, all with ensuite, and be the chatelaine of her very own stately home for the wedding weekend, complete with butler, chef and wedding co-ordinator to take care of all those pesky details.
