The feel
Set in the beautiful countryside beside a parkland golf course, Forrester Park is an exclusive use venue that has been holding wedding celebrations for over 30 years. It is available all year round for exclusive hire and is licensed for civil ceremonies. The building, parts of which date back to the 16th century, has a traditional style and feel. Behind the scenes is a fully equipped top-quality catering operation with its own in-house team of chefs.
Our first-floor Forresters Suite can seat up to 120 people and includes its own bar, dance floor, and cloakrooms. The suite is available for exclusive hire throughout the day and evening. The Clubhouse, with its vaulted ceiling and cosy beamed bar areas, is ideal for arrival drinks and/or evening reception. It is available for exclusive hire after 7pm.
French doors open onto The Gardens which make an ideal backdrop for photographs. There is also an area for a marquee if required. Forrester Park’s new Millennium Lawn outdoor ceremony area is set in its own ‘secret garden’. The Lawn offers beautiful views over the golf course and surrounding countryside while providing a secluded space for you to celebrate your marriage vows. The Millennium Lawn can seat up to 150 for the ceremony and you may also wish to make use of our terrace and garden for a celebratory drinks reception after the ceremony.
