The feel

Up a long tree lined drive way, set in acres of beautiful English countryside and built on the foundations of a medieval village, lies Sheldon Manor; Wiltshire’s oldest inhabited Manor House; with its beautiful traditional roses, manicured lawns and specimen trees it is a magical escape from real life.

The estate comprises of a 13th Century Manor House, a 15th Century chapel, 4 cottages and is surrounded by historic gardens, exquisite roses, rare specimen trees and ancient stone structures.

Sheldon Manor, is licensed to host civil wedding ceremonies in many designated areas throughout the estate, including the 13th Century Porch (reputably the oldest in Britain) and the 15th Century Chapel is available for blessings and the exchange of rings, christenings and naming ceremonies.

The Manor can hold up to 60 guests, and the wedding pavilion up to 100 – larger numbers can also be accommodated.

On-site accommodation can sleep up to 24.
