The feel

The historic Bell Inn, set in its own gardens with a romantic stone courtyard and wishing well, provides the ideal location for the perfect wedding day and a picturesque backdrop for those precious wedding photographs.  Being so centrally located, The Bell is a convenient venue for guests travelling from all parts of the country.

There are twenty two individually decorated bedrooms set around the courtyard and a team of attentive and efficient staff to make your stay both comfortable and enjoyable.

Our acclaimed Marlborough Suite (air-conditioned) was specifically designed with weddings in mind. Complete with dance floor and its own Bar it can accommodate the larger wedding party, or it can be partitioned to host a smaller, more intimate wedding party.

Alternatively our atmospheric AA rosetted Galleried Restaurant, boasting beamed ceilings and intimate furnishings, can also be used for a ceremony and wedding breakfast for smaller parties.   If required, The Marlborough Suite can be hired for an evening reception to carry on the celebrations.

For a less traditional ceremony we are also licensed to perform weddings in our  Bistro.  This area with its marble floors and contemporary décor has a light airy feel.  It is a small but versatile area which readily lends itself to whatever theme or ideas the modern Bride and Groom may wish to incorporate.
