William Morris called Bibury the prettiest village in England and at the Swan Hotel we are proud to be at its heart. Located on the banks of the River Coln, The Swan is enchanting and efficiently run with very friendly staff. We also have our own wedding coordinator who will guide you through the wedding planning process to ensure your special day goes smoothly.

Needless to say, we love our surroundings, but we also love our rooms and riverside garden, and we know you will to.

Let us help make the most important day of your life very special, from the most intimate ceremony to a very grand occasion and celebration. We have a choice of several charming rooms where Registrars can conduct a Civil Marriage ceremony. Alternatively, our beautiful gardens are now licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies too, so you can tie the knot in our flower filled gardens within the heart of Bibury. We will provide the red carpet, flowers and chairs for your special day, followed by a drinks reception.

For the wedding breakfast and evening reception, we have a wonderful collection of rooms and can host wedding receptions for up to 110 guests.

The Library is ideal for smaller ceremonies and is licensed for up to 24 guests. We can even supply witnesses should you wish to be married quietly with the minimum of fuss.

It doesn’t end there… With 22 beautifully designed bedrooms to choose from, there’s no need for carriages at midnight, or even the next day – why not make a weekend of it!
