Elegant, magical, romantic, fun & floral!
About the engagement
Jay made it his mission to surprise me and try throw me off the scent off when it might be. We went to the Cotswolds and on the first evening he proposed and we then ended up extending our trip.
About the venue and what made it special
Rise Hall was the perfect choice of venue for our special day, as it suited our style perfectly. Having 31 bedrooms onsite meant all our friends could stay too.
The planning journey
The planning journey started with a visit to Rise Hall to meet with Chloe, the sales manager. A personal one to one visit, which was great to chat through our plans, look at pricing, and discuss booking our date! Once the date was confirmed, we where introduced to Kim, our events manager. She was super and took us through the planning process. We had a planning meeting, which was held at Rise Hall 6 months before the wedding, as we did book a last minute date. Not that this was an issue, as the planning was done smoothly. Kim was also the present for the weekend, so it made the experience easy!
Style and decor details
The style of the wedding day was elegant and classic. Using creams and white florals worked with the interior of Rise Hall perfectly. The flowers where a key element to the decor and styling. The staircase was dressed with a floral garland, the ceremony was dressed with florals and also the Orangery Ballroom. Adding in a chiffon chair dressing and also some personal touches really made the vision come to life. We opted for a sweetheart top table as well.
The favourite moment of the day
Seeing the whole wedding come together, after planning the wedding, it was lovely to experience every part!
Advice to other couples planning their wedding
