4 Wedding Venues in Twickenham found

For Rugby Union fans Twickenham means the home of English rugby, the magnificent stadium which in its various forms has witnessed some great matches over the decades. But of course it is also an area of the capital, though some 10 miles from the centre. The Thames borders the district, areas near the river like Strawberry Hill – named for Horace Walpole’s extravagant house – with some very elegant and decidedly upmarket mansions, some of them surrounded by equally desirable gardens, woodland and park. Some have rather romantic stories, or at least stories related to one aspect of romance, attaching to them, this being in times past far enough out of the capital to be deemed suitable for mistresses!
