5 Wedding Venues in Tenterden found

Strangely for a town well inland, Tenterden was once within the Cinque Ports grouping, thanks to its river port at nearby Smallhythe. The town is an elegant one, with a broad main street, white weather-boarded houses interspersed with Elizabethan and Georgian buildings, and with a very fine church, St Mildred’s, famed for its carved roof. For those fancying a pre-ceremony tipple there is no lack of pubs, and we hope for the sake of narrative neatness that there is no problem with the wedding invites, Tenterden being reputedly the birthplace of William Caxton.
