5 Wedding Venues in Tamworth found
Easily accessed thanks to its position in a V formed by the M6 toll and M42, Tamworth is a sizeable town that somehow has rather kept itself to itself over recent years. Once the seat of Saxon Kings, the Normans built a castle here, besieged centuries later in the Civil War, thanks to the strategic significance of the site, dominating two rivers. Rather more quirkily, this was also the manufacturing base of Reliant for many years, a company that went from the sublime of the Scimitar to the… less sublime of the Robin. So a place with character and history to it, and a sense of fun with a major theme-park nearby.
