33 Wedding Venues in Swansea found

Dylan Thomas, the most famous resident of Swansea in the last century, called it an ugly lovely town, celebrating its character. Since his time it has moved far closer to the lovely end of the spectrum, and with £1 billion plans in place and work underway to improve the centre further it’s not slipping backwards. To the energy of the city – as it has been since 1969 – add the loveliness of the Gower Peninsula stretching southwest from Swansea, the first place in Britain designated an area of outstanding natural beauty; and the charm of Mumbles on Swansea Bay. Wedding meal menus almost write themselves here, the place famed for cockles, Laverbread (hmm), salt-marsh lamb, and fantastic third- and fourth-generation Italian ice-cream.
