9 Wedding Venues in Stroud found

There is something rather different about Stroud as compared with most of its fellow Cotswold settlements. It was quite a significant spot in the industrial revolution for one thing; and somewhat cosmopolitan too as a result, attracting Huguenot and then Jewish incomers to work in its cloth industry. It is rather sizeable too, with good amenities, and what amounts to an artistic and literary colony, so perhaps if you want something Bohemian about your wedding, among the fine surroundings of this lovely district, Stroud would be your choice – those surroundings including the obligatory Cotswold stone cottages, but fascinating reminders of the industrial past like the Hill Paul building.
