Just one of many advantages to getting married in Saxmundham is that one of the longest established vineyards in the country is to be found here – surely something to be embraced in a toast or two, and perhaps with a glass during the meal? This is a small and pleasant market town, almost a linear village really, with requisite fine church – of St John the Baptist – and characterful High Street no longer blighted by heavy traffic thanks to the bypass. There’s the waterside of the River Fromus too, and the coast nearby beckoning.
