4 Wedding Venues in Retford found
You could be forgiven if standing in the main square in East Retford and looking at the town hall you thought you were in provincial France, the ornate Victorian building seemingly dropped into this Nottinghamshire town from Clochemerle. It sets a pleasant tone, with some other quirky elements like the Sebastopol cannon and Broad Stone adding to that atmosphere. The surrounds are equally pleasing, enhanced by the delightfully named River Idle and the Chesterfield Canal, and with some pretty little satellite villages not hurting the scenic quality either. Given Retford is an interchange station for two main lines, and is just off the A1, it’s easily accessed too.
