2 Wedding Venues in Rainham found
Less than a century ago Rainham was a major market gardening area, whose fields and smallholdings helped to feed London from which it was still distinct, though the Thames linked the two and for a time the smaller settlement’s waterside (and a pub there in particular) drew trippers from the capital. Today at only 13 miles or so from Charing Cross Rainham definitely qualifies as a suburb of the metropolis, with good transport links. A nice thought for those contemplating holding their wedding here – Rainham is home to a huge rice processing plant, so with rice either thrown to wish you good luck (if the venue is ok with that!) or included in the wedding breakfast you’ll be nodding politely to a local institution.
