1 Wedding Venues in Porthmadog found

Most if not all of the slate industry once at the heart of Porthmadog’s development in the 19th century has gone, but vital parts of the infrastructure that supported it remain, notably the harbour created when the embankment called the Cob was built, and the picturesque light railway that winds its way into the hill. This largely Victorian town is a pretty one, with fine sandy beaches an additional asset, its shores also noted for their productive fishing – now there’s an idea for your wedding breakfast (and don’t forget in Wales the breakfasts proper are great too).
