3 Wedding Venues in Penkridge found

A market town still, as it first was in 1244, though with several gaps when rivals and recessions intervened, Penkridge is a quiet sort of place where Church Eaton Brook and the Staffordshire Worcestershire Canal, and of course the River Penk flow by placidly. It may surprise some visitors that the church here was once of some significance, a Collegiate foundation for centuries somewhat strangely in the gift of the Archbishop of Dublin. Easily accessed thanks to the nearby M6 and its own railway station, Penkridge has some characterful old cottages and – happily – pubs, and beyond the town the fine countryside of Cannock Chase.
