Anyone marrying in a Christian ceremony in the old market town of Lutterworth can tip the hat to local figure John Wycliffe, who was rector at the parish church, and who is believed to have made his – the first – translation of the bible into English while living in the town. Not sure how many of us would be comfy with a Latin ceremony these days. The cosily corporal is covered here as well as the spiritual, with some fine old inns, a legacy of the coaching era.
