5 Wedding Venues in Llandeilo found
With the Black Mountains almost in touching distance to the south and east, and the Forest of Brechfa west and north, Llandeilo sits beside the River Towy in a valley of rich agricultural lands. The tiny town’s early importance came from its bridge across the river, that strategic position marked by Dinefwr Castle high above the settlement, and Careg Cennen a few miles distant, and its fine 13th century church. A rail crossing was added in the 19th century, and still stands today, taking trains to the town’s own station. A few miles northwards there are the remains of Roman gold mines, a reminder that – for a price – Welsh gold wedding rings can be obtained.
