8 Wedding Venues in Kelso found

Sir Walter Scott, who was at school here for a time, called Kelso the most beautiful village in Scotland, using poetic licence only in that it is in fact a market town. Its cobbled square fed by four cobbled street has a touch of Paris about it, and the bridge over the Tweed here will remind many of London – its designer went on to create Waterloo Bridge there, the Kelso structure of very similar style. But this is very much a Borders town, complete with requisite rugby club, and enhanced by the ruined remains of its abbey and the very much intact Floors Castle nearby, and a very lovely racecourse too.
