6 Wedding Venues in Gravesend found

As might be expected given its position, Gravesend’s fortunes were, and to some extent still are, linked to the waters of the Thames that narrow here. One of the most picturesque legacies of that history is the beautiful cast iron pier, the oldest such in the country. And there is a fine romantic tale – and if you are planning a wedding as seems logical we hope you’re romantic – associated with the town, though rather tragically too: Pocahontas – though at the time she was Lady Rebecca Rolfe – died in the town as she and her husband and child were setting out to return to the New World.
