3 Wedding Venues in Forfar found
Even the local meat pie here is seemingly linked with weddings – or at least that’s one explanation for the name of the Bridie (miniature Bridies for nibbles at the reception maybe?). It’s a bit un-Scottish, but the local tipple of Strathmore Water surely merits a place on the tables at the reception – though some may prefer the water of life distilled at nearby Fettercairn. There are several solid old mansions dotting the countryside around Forfar, and some fine waterside on the shores of its little lochs – Forfar and Fithie. And the agricultural land here is famed for its soft fruit, another fine idea for the wedding breakfast.
