Unless you’re vegetarian or allergic, it should go without saying that if you hold your wedding anywhere near to Cromer and the crustaceans are available, you have to include the town’s famous crabs in your wedding breakfast (or if you’re really pushing the boat out, its lobsters). As a popular seaside resort – and this being North Norfolk, one at the posher end of the scale – the place knows how to do hospitality, and has a decidedly laid-back atmosphere (something of a plus in any wedding venue, even if you’re not normally the nervous type) thanks in part to its blend of Victorian and Edwardian refined grandeur and more ancient fishermen’s cottages, the fine pier, and the huge tower of its church.
