5 Wedding Venues in Burford found
As the magazine Forbes, chronicler of the wealthy, recently named Burford in its top ten of idyllic places to live in Europe, you can be confident the place has charm and character. With a pretty setting by the River Windrush, and nestling in the Cotswolds, its honey-coloured stone cottages are indeed a vision of one form of the English idyll. The tall spire of St John the Baptist’s Church, old inns and three-arched bridge do nothing to dispel that atmosphere. If My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding is at one end of the style scale, Burford would be at the other, a place where tail-coats and grey toppers would not be out of place.
