1 Wedding Venues in Blair Atholl found
All roads lead to Rome, but in the Grampians it can seem as if every glen leads to Blair Atholl and its famous castle – the last to be under siege in Britain, and spiritual home of the last legally constituted private army in the country, indeed in Europe. The romantic castle, some of it perhaps dating back 700 years or more, though most is from the 16th century, was around long before the village nearby came into being. With the Tilt and Garry rivers joining here the site is a lovely one, perfect perhaps for your Highland wedding. And with a railway station on the doorstep it is practical too.
