There can be few more scenic settings for your wedding in the south of England than the village of Beaulieu, at the southern edge of the New Forest. The Georgian cottages and lovely riverside pretty much sum up one vision of England, and the maritime associations of the place add to that comfortable feeling of rootedness. Those maritime links come from the days when the best boats were built of oak, and timber from the New Forest was used here to create many of our warships. Not that your wedding won’t be attraction enough, but this is also home to a magnificent motor museum (in case petrol heads need persuading to come).
