5 Wedding Venues in Alcester found
‘Olster’ – that’s the way it’s pronounced for those new to the town – is an ancient settlement, of undoubted Roman origin, its local museum proud to show off findings from that period. The centre of this small market town is a pleasing mix of architectural styles, half-timbered alongside Georgian opposite Victorian, and there is the pretty medieval church that you’d expect of such a place. The surrounds are equally well supplied with appealing buildings, stately homes bookending it to the north and south, and some sturdy farmhouses to be seen in the agricultural land amidst which the settlement stands. A lovely spot in Middle England in which to wed.
