Killearn Village Hall
Picture perfect countryside, stunning architecture, village hall charm and the freedom to create your perfect wedding day
Killearn Village Hall provides a beautiful blank canvas for creative couples looking to design a completely unique wedding day. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Endrick Valley with stunning views across to Loch Lomond and the Arrochar Hills, Killearn Village Hall truly provides a picture perfect location for your big day, just 25 minutes from Glasgow!
If you choose to hold your wedding at Killearn Village hall you will have the best of both worlds the freedom to completely personalise the look and feel of your day, with the back up of our our experienced wedding team, to assist with the co-ordination on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly and to schedule.
The original stone village hall building has recently undergone a multi million pound renovation, incorporating a stunning, architect designed glass extension. The venue now houses multiple function spaces under one roof; the 'Garden Room' reception lounge which opens on to the grassy Glebe; the Three Sisters Bake cafe bar and balcony with views across to Loch Lomond which hosts your evening bar and break out area, and the main hall itself, where your ceremony, dinner and, of course, dancing and merriment will take place!
The venue is licensed and a fully stocked bar is provided and staffed by our trained wedding team.
At Killearn Village Hall, we can accommodate onsite ceremonies in the main hall, hosting the entire day under one roof, or we can welcome your party from an offsite ceremony, ready to begin the party at the drinks reception stage in our newly renovated 'Garden Room'.
For onsite weddings, the hall can host either a civil or humanist ceremony, allowing your guests to enjoy views across the Endrick Valley towards Loch Lomond and the Arrochar Hills. We can provide relevant contact details to help you get started organizing either of these options.
From the outset of our wedding catering business, we have always taken it upon ourselves to 'go the extra mile' and rather than adopting the attitude 'we're just the caterer, we include our wedding co-ordination service as part of our catering packages.
This means that beyond providing delicious, colourful, fresh and tasty food, Three Sisters Bake will oversee the smooth running of your day from start to finish, covering all elements including ceremony preparations, decor assistance, bar set up and service as well as the provision of our trained team of wedding staff who will be on hand throughout the day. Our style of service is informal and unobtrusive. We also set up the hall, oversee turnover from ceremony to dinner, then deconstruct and tidy up at the end of the night, meaning you don't have to worry about any of these details on the day!
As in-house caterers and wedding co-ordinators, our approach to wedding service and food reflects the relaxed and informal 'feel' of Killearn Village Hall. We like to think 'outside the box' when it comes to wedding food; we believe that food should play a starring role in every wedding and that the wedding meal should be a fun, colourful and visually exciting affair!
FRESH, SEASONAL & LOCAL
At Three Sisters Bake, we take pride in sourcing fresh, Scottish, seasonal produce. Every element of your wedding meal will be prepared from scratch by our team of chefs and bakers. We work closely with our carefully selected local suppliers to ensure that the best meat, fish and fresh vegetables are sourced to create a meal your guests will love.
SOUL FOOD, SEAFOOD & SHARING PLATTERS
Think Soul inspired pulled pork platters, a fresh seafood bar, sharing mezze or antipasto boards, homebaked breads and dessert tables that look too good to eat. Our food is designed to be shared, celebrated and enjoyed!
WEDDING FEASTS & FAMILY STYLE
The Three Sisters Bake 'gourmet' buffet spread, known as the 'Wedding Feast', gives your guests the chance to view an array of mouth watering dishes and platters before making their choice of food. Alternatively, 'Family Style' service offers an array of bowls and platters in the centre of each table, encouraging food to be passed around, mulled over and shared between family and friends!
