Hothorpe Hall, voted East Midlands ‘Best Wedding Venue’ as part of the Wedding Industry Awards 2014, is a stunning Georgian Manor House situated between Leicester, Market Harborough and Kettering. It has a civil ceremony license, a chapel for blessings and 55 en suite bedrooms, including a bridal suite.
Exclusive use is offered to brides and grooms (non-exclusive weddings also welcome) giving you sole use of the whole venue for the duration of your celebration. A choice of rooms for your civil ceremony and drinks reception is offered, with many opening out onto the garden or terrace.
Opening in May 2015, an alternative venue at Hothorpe Hall, The Woodlands. The secluded Woodlands, nestled among the trees to the east of Hothorpe Hall, will be built from timber frames, which will hold over-sized and irregular-shaped glass windows. The venue will host 55 people for a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast during the day, with an additional 45 that can join your celebration for the evening reception. If you would like to add some natural rustic charm to your wedding or you are keen to recreate that festival feel with the guaranteed comfort of a warm and dry venue, The Woodlands could be just the venue!
Hothorpe has its own private Victorian Chapel for a service of blessing or photographs and a nursery full of toys for children to enjoy. Guests can be accommodated in one of 55 en-suite bedrooms and the bride and groom can enjoy the bridal suite on their wedding night.
The recently refurbished Langton Room (January 2013) is an ideal room to hold your formal wedding breakfast. Once a Victorian stable, this room still boasts original features such as the stable beams. Adjacent to the Langton Room, is our brand new Welford Lounge. This room is spacious and light and typically used for your evening buffet.
