Duncton Mill Fishery
Duncton Mill Fishery is a beautiful lakeside wedding reception venue set at the heart of the Barlavington Estate, within the stunning South Downs National Park. This secluded location is superbly positioned just four miles south of Petworth and eight miles north of Chichester.
An intimate and exclusive venue, allowing couples the scope to create an original bespoke wedding. There are no pre-packaged weddings here, meaning you can put as much of ‘you’ into your special day as you want. Duncton Mill offers the flexibility to select the marquee and caterers you desire. This wonderful waterside setting nestled at the foot of the South Downs is enough to inspire and creates the perfect backdrop to your celebrations.
Marquee's can be erected in good time before the wedding, giving the opportunity for friends and family to help decorate the marquee and grounds ready for the celebrations. We are always on hand in the lead up to your wedding and especially in those last 48 hours before the special day. Close by is the pretty Holy Trinity Church of Duncton which can be booked and enables guests to walk from the church to the reception.
Moored off the lakeside jetty beside the marquee is the beautiful 14ft rowing boat named Rosie, she can be decorated with bunting and comfy cushions, and is available for hire meaning brides can arrive at the ceremony by boat, with guests being rowed around the lakes during the afternoon and evening.
With the capacity to host up to 180 guests, why not entertain in the afternoon with lakeside games or light up the night sky with a spectacular firework display over the water.
