NEW for spring/summer 2023, we are very proud to be able to offer our couples the chance to hold their ceremony in the stunning grounds of the Hall. With amazing views of our expertly maintained gardens, and a picture-perfect backdrop of the Hall, you and up to 200 of your friends and family can gather in the sunshine, and share that special moment. With 26 acres surrounding the Hall, your ceremony can be adapted to suit the style and size of your day. From a traditional ceremony in front of the fountains, to a woodland wedding with a festival vibe, Wortley Hall has everything to offer.

Wortley Hall was originally the ancestral home of the Earl of Wharncliffe, and boasts a number of individually designed ceremony and dining rooms, all with original features in keeping with the history and heritage of the building. The Stately Home of Wortley Hall is situated within 26 acres of beautiful formal gardens and woodlands, which makes for a very picturesque wedding venue and provides the most breath-taking backdrop for your wedding photography.

Picture you and your guests strolling on our terrace and gardens amidst the perfectly maintained floral beds on our beautiful Yorkshire estate, your favourite songs playing, a glass of chilled prosecco in hand and our expert waiting staff serving you a selection of your individually selected canapés.
