The feel
Weddings in the Woods is a unique venue in the heart of the New Forest just outside Lyndhurst. Nestled in the ancient woodland within the grounds of a large private estate, the Carpenter’s Barn provides a rustic setting for a wedding reception. A marquee can be set up on the large south-facing deck behind the Barn. We have a licenced bar, ample parking and cloakroom facilities. To ensure you can design your wedding to be the way you want it, there are various options for catering and you are free to decorate the venue, choosing your own florist etc.
The location and “exclusive use” guarantees a very private wedding. Our unfussy approach creates a relaxed atmosphere and we offer lots of unusual attractions that will make your day really memorable. A fire pit with log circle for guests to sit around during the evening. Whole range of entertainment from duck herding, falconry, laser clays and even axe throwing. Bridal Shepherd Hut’s for wedding couple to stay overnight Overnight accommodation in Shepherd’s Huts/camping for guests.
