The feel
Tymperleys is a uniquely beautiful Tudor building surrounded by a stunning walled garden in the heart of Colchester.
Walk through the archway off Trinity Street into an oasis of calm and romance.
If you are looking for somewhere for your wedding that is intimate, beautiful and has excellent catering, then Tymperleys is the ideal choice.
You can hold your wedding ceremony, reception or both at Tymperleys.
The lovely Tudor rooms offer various opportunities for wedding ceremonies from 4 to 50 guests. The traditional interior of wood and white plaster, leaded windows and beams offers a beautiful setting for your ceremony, followed by photographs in the Rose Garden.
We have an experienced team who will be on hand throughout with advice and support and delivered with our special attention to detail. On the day itself, we will give you the celebration you want, allowing you to relax and enjoy a wonderful day.
At Tymperleys you can hire the entire premises, giving you exclusive use for the whole day. Alternatively, you can use the private rooms on the first floor. We will be delighted to help work out which is the best option for you.
All catering is done in-house allowing us to help you tailor the food and drinks to suit you requirements and budget. Our fantastic team in the kitchen and front of house take both pleasure and pride in ensuring you have the day of your dreams in the most beautiful spot in the centre of Colchester.
