Set in the heart of Sherwood Forest, surrounded by untouched natural beauty, Thoresby is one of Nottinghamshire’s most impressive exclusive wedding locations.

Ceremonies and receptions take place in the dramatic Victorian Riding Hall. The gorgeous barn-style space boasts a soaring arched ceiling, rustic beams, red brick walls, twinkling lights and superb wooden floor. The hall accommodates 150 seated and up to 200 for your evening reception.

The secret garden attached to The Riding Hall is perfect for your drink’s reception and outdoor entertainment.  The private garden has a large canopy for shade and many picturesque touches to discover.

The park and woodland offer endless photographic opportunities in picturesque surroundings.

Beyond the fabulous setting and facilities, the dedicated team of wedding coordinators are the real key to the venue’s success. They are on hand to create a bespoke wedding that is unique to you, offering a flexible approach to all areas of your day.
