A beautifully restored historic building in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside. This unique new venue will capture your heart and imagination and is exclusively yours for the day. Easily accessible, we are situated close to the stunning North Norfolk Coast and only 15 miles from the centre of Norwich.
Believed to date back to the 17th century The Reading Room stands in beautiful landscaped gardens, with the Church of St Ethelberts providing a spectacular backdrop to the venue.
Historically the building was somewhere for the local community to use as a meeting place where people could have access to books, learn to read and be taught about what was going on in the world through newspapers. It was also a place of entertainment with games, dancing and social events as well as wedding celebrations.
The renovation has transformed the Reading Room back to its former glory, with beautiful stone leaded windows and vaulted ceilings, creating a unique and magical place for you to celebrate your wedding day.
As you arrive you will walk through the enchanting woods into the picturesque English garden, with its beautiful old wall filled with colourful borders and fruit trees. The idyllic setting provides a beautiful space for an outdoor ceremony and many photo opportunities to capture your special memories.
As a family run business we are passionate about making your day perfect. We will be here for you, to support through the planning stage and on the day as much or as little as you would like us to be.
