This 15th-century barn is run privately with over 30 years experience in events. Don’t worry! Just because the venue is historic doesn’t mean the entertainment has to be. The Moat not only has facilities for both live bands and DJ’s, but there’s also a new cocktail bar for those of you who love to party through the night.

Their knowledgeable team are committed and available for personal event managment as well as recommending some of their most trusted suppliers for elements such as entertainment, floristry and photography, so they can help make your dream day a reality.

Speaking of photography, they are situated in the beautiful Kent countreyside which makes an unforgettable backdrop for those very special wedding photos. But the beauty doesn’t stop there. This venue’s interior has a rustic design with vintage furniture and there’s even a cosy fireplace to give a romantic ambiance.

The Moat is available for exclusive hire from midday until midnight and they are licensed for Civil Ceremonies at 2pm.

For an evening reception, couples can choose between al fresco dining in the barn for up to 100 guests or they can take advantage of the venue’s BBQ facilities by the outdoor firepit.
