The Malt Cross is a beautiful and unique venue situated in the heart of Nottingham city centre, on St James’s Street. Previously a Victorian music hall originating in 1877, the Malt Cross is full of history, quirky original features, and atmosphere.
The Malt Cross features a stunning glass dome roof that floods the open plan, two storey building with natural light. As one of the last remaining Victorian music halls in the country, both the ground floor bar and seating area, and first floor balcony style seating area, are full of beautiful original features that have been lovingly preserved.
There is a fully licensed bar and kitchen, with option to design a catering package to suit you and your day. Furthermore a raised stage area bridges the space between the ground floor and first floor balcony, perfect for a band or performer. As a venue that regularly hosts talented and up-and-coming bands and artists, we would be able to put you in touch with bands, DJs or singers to perform at your reception.
With space for up to 200 guests and exclusive hire of the building, the Malt Cross offers a completely individual and charismatic venue for a memorable and unique wedding reception.
