The feel

Stratton Court Barn is a wonderful countryside venue, perfect for putting your own stamp on your day. We offer a traditional converted barn, originally built in Cotswold stone in 1872. We pride ourselves on providing a relaxed atmosphere, with an informal approach, to help you really enjoy your day. We believe that your wedding day should reflect you, as a couple, so we are open to any ideas you might have in terms of food, theming, decoration and schedule of events.

Stratton Court Barn is situated on Cathy and Chris Wigmore’s private land and house known as Pool Farm. The land is no longer in use for arable farming, but plays host to the Wigmore’s family business Banzai Events. With 30 years of experience in private and corporate events, the Wigmores certainly know how to make you feel welcome. The event business specialises in motorised events and teambuilding. You may therefore find quad bikes and welly boots around when you arrive for a site visit!

The barn consists of an entry hallway with flagstone flooring, which is perfect for serving drinks. To the left of the reception area is the dining room. The dining room seats 80 people with a long top table and seven round tables. We can seat 90 guests by using nine round tables only. To the right of the entry hallway is our bar and lounge area. This room is perfect for mingling during your drinks reception and for your DJ or band to set up – ready to party the night away. We can host up to 150 people for an evening reception.
