The feel

Stationers’ Hall is the most perfect venue for any wedding. It is located in the heart of the City of London, just minutes’ walk from St Paul’s Cathedral. Whether you wish to get married at the Hall (we are licenced for civil ceremonies including same sex partnerships), or the neighbouring St Martin within Ludgate Church, Stationers’ Hall and its secluded Garden provide the ideal backdrop for your perfect day.

Stationers’ Hall comprises of a suite of elegant inter-linking rooms with large ornate stained glass windows, oak panelling, armorial banners and shields as well as a magnificent private garden – perfect for your reception and photos. The venue hire fee includes exclusive use of Stationers’ Hall so you can be assured of having our sole attention on the day!

When hosting a wedding or celebration, you need true flexibility and privacy which is something that we provide. Stationers’ Hall stands out from other venues in that it is available for weddings seven days a week.

Those interested in hiring Stationers’ Hall can make use of the following room capacities. For wedding ceremonies or civil partnerships, we have the beautiful Court Room which can seat up to 120 guests and the magnificent Livery Hall which can seat up to 200 guests.

If you choose to have a Church wedding, St Martin within Ludgate provides the perfect blend of rich history and culture with a contemporary feel for your wedding ceremony of up to 160 people. It is one of the rare fifty-two remaining Wren Churches in the City, complete with its striking interior, stained glass windows and oak wood flooring dating back to the 12th Century. A private door ideally leads onto Stationers’ Hall’s beautiful secluded Garden, the perfect setting for your evening celebrations.

For wedding receptions, the Court Room can accommodate up to 90 guests on round tables or we can seat up to 205 guests in the Livery Hall. Dancing can take place either in the Livery Hall or in the Stock Room, depending on your final numbers.

Venue hire is dependent on the time of year and ranges between £3,950 + vat to £4,950 + vat.

We have a resident caterer based on site as well as a list of caterers who are also permitted to cater here at Stationers’ Hall. This list also includes accredited African, Caribbean, Asian and Kosher caterers.

We can also provide a range of services including florists, photographers, bands, DJs and confetti (to name but a few): supplying everything you need for the ideal celebration. You are, however, very welcome to bring your own suppliers which we can liaise with on your behalf to make the whole process that little bit easier!

We are lucky enough to have our own Courtyard for parking for up to 4 cars, or why not bring your guests on a Routemaster bus ?! We can also recommend a number of hotels with which we have negotiated reduced rates.
