Southdowns Manor – a beautiful setting for the perfect wedding, reception or corporate function, situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Southdowns is within easy reach of Surrey, Guildford and Southampton, bordering the counties of Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex. Our beautifully refurbished, prestigious wedding venue is offered to you exclusively – your home for the day.
Southdowns retains its original charm and character while providing modern comforts, providing a wonderful atmosphere. This beautiful manor is a relaxed and intimate haven for smaller events and is able to accommodate larger parties just as successfully; the classic elegance of Southdowns has it all.

Everything ‘in house’
From your arrival until breakfast the following morning, you can truly relax knowing that everything is taken care of in house. Our catering is of the highest of standards; a dedicated and passionate event manager, bar and beverage services, overnight accommodation and much, much more! Our Honeymoon Suite and another 14 luxurious ensuite bedrooms are available for you and your guests to stay the night of the wedding (and the one before for two day events!)
We offer three reception rooms:
Sussex Room – An informal area with full bar facility, where your guests can meet on arrival. The room is licensed for ceremonies and can accommodate up to 40 guests. The Sussex Room is an ideal location in which to serve canapés and reception drinks to your guests.
Conservatory – Licenced for ceremonies of up to 40 guests, this light and airy room can be used for a variety of purposes.
Banqueting Suite – Licenced for larger ceremonies of up to 150 guests the room can comfortably accommodate 150 people for banqueting purposes. With a starlight ceiling on throughout the day and evening, the Banqueting Suite provides an elegant setting for your day.
