The feel

Set in 15 acres of beautifully manicured gardens, the Royal Berkshire Hotel is an elegant Queen Anne house built in 1705. Offering a rare balance of relaxed comfort, informal surroundings and impeccable service, the house and gardens are the picture perfect venue for your truly special day.

Our Berkshire Suite is licensed to conduct civil services so you can exchange your vows as well as have your wedding reception with us. For a summer wedding, picture guests sipping bubbly by the fountain and savouring delicious canapes on the lawns to the mellow sounds of a string quartet. Or if it’s a winter wedding, guests can mingle in the perfectly appointed bars and lounges sipping warming mulled wine and enjoying the cosy splendour of the hotel.

We create bespoke weddings to suit your every need or if you prefer, our stylish wedding packages make it easy and fun with stress free planning! And if you are excited by the idea of your very own country house, the Royal Berkshire can be reserved on an “Exclusive Use” basis.

When all the speeches, celebrations and dancing are over, we have 63 beautifully appointed bedrooms for you and your guests to slip away to… and your guests are eligible for a very special accommodation rate should they wish to stay the night. For those honeymooning abroad, the Royal Berkshire is only a 20 minute drive from Heathrow Airport.
